Skidmore Spotlight: Tim Bruno

Tim Bruno, a short-order cook in Dining Services, serves café drinks, baked goods, and other food items at Burgess Café in Case Center. 

Bruno, who joined Skidmore 20 years ago, enjoys the camaraderie of interacting with faculty, staff, and students daily, and he’s happy to see everyone back on campus. “It's good to see everybody,” Bruno said. 

When he’s not on campus, Bruno likes to travel, attend sporting events, and spend time with family and friends. He is a huge Duke basketball fan and had the honor of meeting Coach K at Saratoga Race Course one year.  

“While in high school, I worked at the track and met many good people,” Bruno said. “To this day I'm allowed to go into the paddock area before races and the winner's circle after the last race of the day.”
