Kat Dunn is Liberty League's Women’s Soccer Player of the Year

Kat Dunn '24 is Skidmore’s first Liberty League Player of the Year in women’s soccer. She played 16 games and held the team high of eight goals this season. Highlights of her year included a pair of multi-goal games against SUNY New Paltz and St. Lawrence University and an ability to deliver in big moments. Five of her eight tallies were game winners, and she ranks in the top 20 nationally in game-winning goals.

Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year, Women’s Soccer

Lacey Largeteau, Patrick Morency, and Jason Tenner also pulled off a first for Skidmore — earning the Liberty League’s Co-Coaching Staff of the Year award. They share the honor with the coaching staff of Clarkson University.

Under their leadership, women’s soccer finished its season ranked second in the league in team defense with only nine goals allowed all year. Skidmore returned to the playoffs for the second year in a row and hosted a postseason game for the first time since 2013. With an overall record of 10-2-4, it was the first time Skidmore reached the double-digit win plateau since 2013 (12-4-2).

Additionally, five members of the women's soccer squad earned All-Conference honors.
