Dance students collaborate with renowned choreographers to debut new work

March 13, 2023

Two prolific choreographers from San Francisco-based ODC/Dance participated in a five-day residency at Skidmore College, collaborating with students in the Dance Department to create an original work.

The chance to work with the acclaimed choreographers and then join the professional dance company in a public performance is an example of the type of unique experiences available to students at the liberal arts college.

“We are so appreciative for the robust learning opportunities that this collaboration has produced for Skidmore dancers,” said Associate Professor and Dance Department Chair Sarah DiPasquale, calling the undergraduate opportunity “once in a lifetime.”
