Barbara Black, professor of English, was interviewed about her book “Hotel London.” The interview, conducted by the great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens, Lucinda Hawksley, will eventually be incorporated into a podcast.

Marc Conner, president and professor of English, chaired a panel and delivered a paper at the American Literature Association conference in Boston (May 25-27).

Catherine J. Golden, professor of English, has published a review of Communities of Care: The Social Ethics of Victorian Fictionby Talia Schaffer in the most recent issue of Tulsa Studies in Women’s Literature (spring 2023).
