Crystal Dea Moore, professor emeritus of social work and former dean, was honored with a 2025 Woman of Distinction Award by New York Assemblymember Phil Steck for her contributions to youth music education and philanthropy. As co-owner Peak Music Studios, she has developed a high-quality voice program for girls and led charitable music initiatives that support families facing medical crises.

Kieron Dwayne Sargeant, assistant professor of dance, was interviewed by Thomas Ford of Dance Teacher Magazine, featuring conversations with prominent dance educators.


Faculty-staff achievements will be on pause over the summer. All submissions received will be held until regular publication resumes on Wednesday, Aug. 27.
