Getting that first job offer after you graduate is so exciting! Once the excitement settles, it can become a little overwhelming particularly when it comes to evaluating benefits packages. What healthcare plan do you choose? What is a 401k? How does this contribute to the overall job offer?
Kristin Stroebel is a 2002 graduate of Skidmore College, where she majored in Dance
Theory.
Since graduating from Skidmore, Kristin’s path has led her to many professional experiences including various areas in the performing arts, business ownership, and hospitality, before focusing on a career in Human Resources. She has worked in all areas of HR, including Learning and Development, Benefits Administration, Employee Relations and Recruiting. She has previously worked for the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and most recently, Mazzone Hospitality.
Her favorite part about her HR roles has been creating a workplace culture that goes above and beyond employees’ needs and expectations and using that motivation to drive the business with its people.
Kristin lives in Queensbury, New York with her two sons and enjoys lots of movie nights
with them,
spending time with her large family and traveling anytime she can.
