Sarah DiPasquale, associate professor and chair of dance, represented Skidmore College in the Project Pericles panel at American Association of Colleges and Universities’ 2024 Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. The panel presentation, “Connecting Classrooms, Campuses, and Communities: Curricula and Pedagogical Strategies for the Public Good,” featured the work of Periclean Faculty Leaders from five institutions around the country.

Sarah Sweeney, associate professor of art, was selected as a finalist for the Arte Laguna Prize, an International Prize in Contemporary Art, and will be included in an exhibition in the Arsenale Nord in Venice, Italy in November.

The executive producer of “American Heart in WWI: A Carnegie Hall Tribute” is honoring Veterans Day by weaving together theatrical storytelling, orchestral music, and rare archival film to reimagine America’s experience in the Great War. The program airs on PBS Nov. 11.
