Rachel Cantave, assistant professor of international affairs, published "Pursuing Racial Order and Social Progress: Violence, Afrophobia and ‘Religious Racism’ in Brazil" in Latin American Research Review.

Joowon Park, director of Asian studies and associate professor of anthropology, gave a book talk at the University of South Carolina. His book, “Belonging in a House Divided,” was published by the University of California Press in 2023.

Kieron Sargeant, assistant professor of dance, was the choreographer for the University of Iowa Department of Theatre’s rendition of "In the Red and Brown Waters,” a play written by Tarell Alvin McCraney and directed by Caroline Clay. The show will open at Thayer Theatre on Friday, April 12.

Jess Sullivan, professor of psychology, and Erica Wojcik, associate professor of psychology, created the SAYCam dataset, featured in recent articles in The Atlantic and Scientific American.
