Neha Arora, instructor of biology, published a review article, "Incorporation of chemical modulators to enhance algal biomass and bioproduct synthesis," in Biocatalysis and Agricultural Biotechnology.
Giuseppe Faustini, professor of Italian, was appointed to the editorial board of Pirandelliana: International Journal of Pirandello Studies.
Ben Harwood and Aaron Kendall, lead instructional technologists in Learning Experience Design and Digital Scholarship (LEDS) division of the Information Technology office, represented the Skidmore AI Think Tank in a Discovery Session at the Online Learning Consortium conference. The presentation acknowledged how Artificial Intelligence (AI) stirs up a wide range of emotions, which can be proactively addressed in institutions by creating a space for exploring the ethos of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and generative AI on campus.
Maryuri Roca, senior teaching professor of chemistry, published a scientific review with coauthor Ciaran Healey '24 and collaborators from the University of Missouri and the United State Naval Academy. The paper, "The Huge Role of Tiny Impurities in Nanoscale Synthesis," is published in ACS Nanoscience Au.
Aneta Turlik, visiting assistant professor of chemistry, Thomas Tao ’24, and Olivia Gottschall ’26 published a research article in Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
