Lucas LaFreniere, assistant professor of psychology, published a scientific article, "Savoring Changes Novel Positive Mindset Targets of GAD Treatment," in Behaviour Research and Therapy.

Don McCormack, dean emeritus, will be honored at the 47th Annual Freihofer's Saratoga Jazz Festival for his contributions to the arts and jazz scene in Saratoga Springs.

Sonia Silva, associate professor of anthropology, has had an essay, “Boundary Situations: An Existential Account of Wounded Healing,” published in a collective volume coming out of the University of Toronto University Press, “Between Life and Thought: Existential Anthropology and the Study of Religion.”

Chris Vecsey, associate professor and director of the Neuroscience Program, published a research article titled "hkb is required for DIP-α expression and target recognition in the Drosophila neuromuscular circuit" in Communications Biology. This article includes two Skidmore alumni, Terrence Gatton ’20 and Bill Wu ’23 as co-authors, and acknowledges 17 additional Skidmore students who contributed to the project across two semesters of Vecsey's NS202: Neurophysiology course.
