Yelena Biberman-Ocakli, associate professor of political science, published a chapter, "US-China Rivalry in the Age of Weaponizable Biotechnology,” in the Wilson Center's report “Analyzing China’s Domestic and Foreign Policies.”

Barbara Black, professor of English and Tisch Chair in Arts and Letters, has published an article, "Thinking of and with Another: Caring for Schreiner in the Time of Covid," in the Fall/Winter issue of Global Nineteenth-Century Studies. 

John Brueggemann, professor of sociology, will discuss his book "Food for the Future: Stories from the Alternative Agro-food Movement" at Northshire Bookstore in Saratoga Springs at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Ruben Castillo, assistant professor of studio art, will be a visiting artist at California State University, Fresno, where he will meet with printmaking students, discuss his art practice, and produce new work as a one-week resident artist in the printmaking area.

Laurie Rabinowitz, assistant professor for education studies, co-presented at the New York Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (NYACTE) Conference with Anna Siddiqui '26, Sharon Xu '27, and Sydney Brown '26. Their presentation was titled "Empowering Novice Educators: Book Clubs as a Pathway to Disability Identity Fluency in the Undergraduate Classroom."

Gordon Ross Thompson, professor emeritus of music, was interviewed on WAMC by Joe Donahue about his two-volume book, “Sixties British Pop, Outside In.”
