Rob Hutchison ’07, men’s hockey coach, had his 100th career win, making him the second coach in program history to reach the milestone. 

Penny Jolly, professor emerita of art history, gave a lecture at the Hyde Collection in Glens Falls, titled "Dressing the Renaissance Child: From Swaddling to Codpieces," on Nov. 21. The lecture was offered in conjunction with the exhibition she curated for the Hyde, "Growing Up in a Renaissance Palazzo: Childhood in Italy, 1400 to 1600," which is available for viewing through Jan. 5. 

Kyle Lancto, associate director of athletic communications and marketing, has been selected by College Sports Communicators for the 30 Under 30 Class of 2024.

Rebecca McNamara, Tang associate curator, presented the paper "'What was before': Lenore Tawney and Her Circle, 1950-1963" at the Textile Society of America annual symposium in November.

Meghan Thornton, manager of new media strategy in the Office of Communications and Marketing, had her digital media campaign on Reddit recognized with a Capital Region MARCOM Award.

The executive producer of “American Heart in WWI: A Carnegie Hall Tribute” is honoring Veterans Day by weaving together theatrical storytelling, orchestral music, and rare archival film to reimagine America’s experience in the Great War. The program airs on PBS Nov. 11.
