Sarah DiPasquale, associate professor and chair of dance, was recently featured in Times Union and The Daily Gazette for her new collaboration with the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and Pilobolus Dance Company. The coverage highlights their upcoming research initiative on intergenerational dance programming, as well as a recent pilot class held at Skidmore on March 19.

Catherine J. Golden, professor of English, published an essay, titled “Works of Quiet Rebels: The Unconventional Brontë Sisters,” in "The Routledge Handbook of Victorian Rebels” (2025), edited by Brenda Ayres. In an endnote, Golden recognizes two Skidmore English majors — Alice Condry-Power '24 and Kari Stein '24 — for their help in finding period reviews, proofreading, and compiling the extensive bibliography.

Brooke Paradise, associate dean for inclusion and engagement, has been accepted into the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and American College Personnel Association’s (ACPA) Professional Competency Areas for Student Affairs Practitioners program, specifically focusing on the law, policy, and governance competency area. This prestigious 23-hour residential certificate program is designed to strengthen the legal and policy knowledge of student affairs professionals. Upon completion of this residency, Paradise will earn a formal certification in Higher Education Law and Policy.
