Michael holds a B.M and M.M in Music Education from the Crane School of Music @ SUNY
Potsdam and has been on staff at Skidmore College since 2006. Michael enjoys playing
tuba actively in the Capital Region including performances with the Glens Falls Symphony,
Capital Region Wind Ensemble, Schenectady Symphony, and also the Lion King Gazelle
tour at Proctors Theater. He also performs around the community with his brass quintet,
Brass Abbey.
Michael has also enjoyed teaching in the Shenendehowa Central School district since
2003 where he conducts middle school band and provides instrumental lessons.
