Lisa Aronson, professor of art history, published (with Martha Anderson) "An African Photographer Hiding in Plain Sight," a photo essay on Jonathan A. Green, in the Autumn 2011 edition of African Arts magazine. A story about the pair's recent research was published Sept. 30 in The Guardian's Sunday Magazine

Corey Freeman-Gallant, associate dean of the faculty and professor of biology, is co-author on two papers recently accepted for publication: "Social and extra-pair mating in relation to major histocompatibility complex variation in common yellowthroats" (Proceedings of the Royal Society, London, Series B: Biological Sciences) and "MHC variation is related to a sexually selected ornament, survival, and parasite resistance in common yellowthroats" (Evolution, in press).   Collaborators include Peter Dunn, Linda Whittingham, and Jennifer Bollmer from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Daniel Swift, assistant professor of English, has a new book, Shakespeare's Common Prayers: The Book of Common Prayer and the Elizabethan Age, published by Oxford University Press.

Roy H. Ginsberg, professor and chair, Department of Government, was interviewed by The Daily Gazette for an Oct. 13 story titled "Professor: EU can weather the crisis." The story related to the recent announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize being awarded to the European Union.
