From across the country, and from across the globe, Skidmore freshmen converged on campus last week as 600-plus strangers.  But through pre-orientations like the SCOOP outdoors adventure in the nearby Adirondack Mountains, fast friendships and cultural comfort began to blossom in just a few hours.
