Gwen D'ArcangelisGwen D'Arcangelis, associate professor of gender studies, discussed “Biodefense and the War on Terror” on the “War & Society” podcast. In the episode, D’Arcangelis observes how the anthrax scare and the current COVID-19 pandemic are part of a broader and ongoing history of American bio-imperialism. 

Kris CoveyKris Covey, visiting assistant professor of environmental studies and sciences, has received a $262,139 grant from the Walton Family Foundation to support ongoing soil carbon research in the coming year. In addition to facilitating student research, the funding will support three positions.  

Sarah DiPasqualeSarah DiPasquale, assistant professor of dance, co-authored a paper “Heart rate variability in a collegiate dance environment: insights on overtraining for dance educators” with Meaghan Wood '17 and Rohan Edmonds in Research in Dance Education. 

Jamie Parra

Jamie Luis Parra, assistant professor of English, published a review of Elizabeth Freeman’s “Beside You in Time: Sense Methods and Queer Sociabilities in the American 19th Century” in Review 19.

David SniderDavid Snider, lecturer of arts administration, published the op-ed "Five ways New York can help revive the arts” in the Times-Union.
