Update on the VPFA search

I am pleased to provide an update on the national search to fill the position of vice president for finance and administration and treasurer, as a result of Mike West's pending retirement this August.

I will chair the search committee, Joshua Woodfork will assist me, and Jeanne Sisson will provide administrative support. We are working with executive search consultants Steve Leo, partner, and Matthew Bunting, managing associate, Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates LP.

Committee members include Charles Buchanan, trustee; Jim Kennelly, professor of management and business and vice chair of the search committee; Sara Lagalwar, assistant professor of neuroscience; Crystal Dea Moore, interim dean of the faculty and vice president for academic affairs; Kelley Patton-Ostrander, director of financial planning and budgeting; Doug Chang, technology buyer and sales associate, Skidmore Shop, staff member; and Henry Jaffe '18, student member.

The search process is currently underway and the job advertisement is going out today. The ad and the job specification may now be found on the search website, which requires Skidmore login credentials. The search will continue until the position is filled.

Going forward, we are now working with search consultants from Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates.
