Thank you for participating in Skidmore Cares!

To the Skidmore community,

Skidmore Cares Friday has become one of our favorite moments in the year as we all pause to connect as a campus, celebrate with family members, and take time to embrace the spirit of the season by sharing with those in need.

We want to extend our personal thanks to all of you for your generous and caring participation in this year’s Skidmore Cares.  You filled the sleigh with food and school supply items in record numbers.  Kudos to our campus Team Leaders and Coordinators and the Skidmore Cares committee for helping make this wonderful collection possible!  This year, we are able to distribute over $13,000 (including a wonderful donation from Beatlemore Skidmania) to the ten agencies we identified to support.  In addition, we delivered 5,111 food and toiletry items and school supplies to these agencies on Monday. 

It was joyful to welcome so many of our Skidmore family and friends to Scribner House to enjoy fabulous food, wonderful a cappella group performances, cookie decorating and crafts in the Carriage House, warm fellowship, and lots of holiday cheer.  And we know you all join us in extending our special thanks to our fabulous Dining Services and Facilities teams, who work so hard to make the Skidmore Cares Open House possible for all of us, and to our athletic teams who sort and help deliver all of the donations!
