2020 Summer Operations Update

Dear Members of the Skidmore Community,    

After careful consideration of current projections surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all on-campus summer institutes, camps, conferences, events, and academic programs, including all Summer Session courses and the Pre-College Program. All advance registration and program fees for summer programming will be refunded. 

Summer internships-for-credit and independent studies remain as options and may be arranged through the normal processes; information about registering for internships and independent studies is available online. In addition, collaborative research opportunities, the SEE-Beyond and Summer Experience programs and the Opportunity Program’s Summer Academic Institute will be offered remotely. More details will be provided as they become available. 

The well-being of all members of our community and our guests must continue to be our highest priority. We very much regret the necessity for this decision and share in the disappointment it brings.
