Professor Lemus-Vidales received his Ph.D. in Mathematics at Brandeis University in
2017. After teaching at Brandeis and Hobart and William Smith Colleges, he joins Skidmore's
Mathematics and Statistics department as a Visiting Assistant Professor. His research
interests are in the area of Enumerative Combinatorics and Mathematics Education.
Abstract Algebra and Number Theory are among his favorite courses to teach but he
also enjoys teaching the Calculus sequence. He firmly believes Mathematics should
be accessible and enjoyable to everyone willing to put the necessary time and effort.
