Artist profilE: Karen Reese 

Karen Reese, the talented artist who donated this year’s original program artwork, was raised on a horse ranch out west and has been starting young horses all of her life. She trains horses for polo and other disciplines with a focus on allowing the horses to learn and be confident in their discipline.

Her artwork is a result of years of studying her subjects and the love she has for horses and ranch life. Karen lives on an historic ranch in Wyoming, where she draws inspiration from the Big Horn Mountains, the rushing creeks, and the windswept plains. Karen is the mother of two children and several dogs, and operates a polo vacation business from her ranch.
