Tang Museum tour

Two new exhibitions, “Radical Fiber: Threads Connecting Art and Science” and “Opener 34: Ruby Sky Stiler — New Patterns,” are now open to the public. The acclaimed Dunkerley Dialogue series continues at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, with an in-person conversation between artist Ruby Sky Stiler and Associate Professor of Psychology Casey Schofield. Skidmore opened the spring semester with a series of wins, including a pair of comeback victories by the men’s basketball team and strong showings by the women’s basketball team, the men's hockey team, the riding team, and the swimming and diving teams.

Start your college in the right direction

Skidmore’s annual Junior Admissions Workshop for high school juniors will take the form of four virtual, recorded sessions this month. Ensemble Connect musicians

Ensemble Connect, a group of the finest young professional classical musicians based out of Carnegie Hall, celebrates its 15th year at Skidmore with a concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18. This performance will be livestreamed and, if conditions permit, will also be open to the public in the Arthur Zankel Music Center. President Marc Conner is planning two late-February visits to Florida — to Naples on Feb. 26 and Vero Beach on Feb. 28. All are welcome. Also, the virtual Cocktails and Conversations series has resumed, offering more opportunities to connect in an informal and engaging way with faculty.
