Big Top Pre-Orientation

 

Can you juggle five balls? Do your homework in handstands? Can you make the most amazing face paintings and impress all your friends with your clowning skills? Yes? Awesome, join us! No? Even better, we'll teach you! This pre-orientation will introduce you to different circus arts. What better way is there to start your college experience than clowning around with your new best friends? Come pick up chicks and guys—literally.

Circus club is an all-inclusive club on campus that performs and teaches circus arts. Circus Performance Team members will be your peer advisors and teach you new skills including partner acrobatics, gymnastics, clowning, juggling and more!

We will also take a trip to the New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro, Vermont, where professional circus artists will give workshops in different skills such as flying trapeze and aerial silks. Other activities include dinner at the Circus Cafe downtown and the Big Top Challenge event. So come clown around for three days full of fun, new experiences and circus-craziness!
