Because staff salary commitments must be made in advance and the operational costs are fixed, the College must follow a very limited refund policy.
Camp Fees, less a $50 non-refundable deposit ($20 for Swim Lessons), will be issued if the Office of Special Programs is notified seven (7) days prior to the start of the camp session. Cancellations may be made by phone (518-580-8061) or by e-mail (email@example.com). Refund requests based on emergency medical conditions will be made only when accompanied by a letter from a physician. Appeals for refunds due to extenuating circumstances must be made in writing to the Associate Director for Institutes and Camps.
If Skidmore College cancels a program before it begins all program fees will be refunded. If the College is forced to cancel a program while in progress, an appropriate pro-rated refund will be issued.
