Paragraph Responses: Please provide a detailed and thoughtful response to each section of this proposal form in a style consistent with the Honors Forum Writing Guidelines. Failure to address each section fully will result in an automatic "revise and resubmit" response.

Overview - Please describe the general purpose of your project. What motivated you to choose it? Is the project an extension of a course or coursework you have done? Does it address a current topic in a discipline you are interested in?*

Goals - What specifically do you hope to accomplish? What is the overarching theme of the project and what specific questions will frame your discussions and guide your thinking throughout the course of the project? What do you hope to gain from this project intellectually?*

Intellectual Depth - How will your proposed project be academically rigorous? How will this project enhance your academic studies? What ancillary resources will you consult to provide an appropriate background and/or alternative view(s) for interrogating the primary text(s)?*

Schedule of discussions - Provide a schedule of your weekly meetings. For each meeting, indicate who will lead the discussion, include a short description of the text(s) you will discuss, and explain how the text(s) and your close inspection of it/them will inform you with regard to the overarching theme of your project.*
