The First-Year Experience Civic Engagement Project

Meet other Scribner Seminars while serving the greater community. Please join us as we give a helping hand to the Regional Food Bank Farm and the Double H Ranch, a summer camp for severely ill children.Work will range from harvesting food (at the farm) to leaf-raking and general maintenance (at the Ranch). Students will also receive a tour and learn about the organization's mission.

Participation is open to all First-Year students and their Peer Mentors. Box lunches will be provided.

It is not necessary for all seminar students to attend the same workday in order for the seminar to win; we will count overall participation of the class (including of course, the peer mentor) over the course of the three possible workdays.
