Hotel, Parking, & Travel Information
The Spectrum conference will pay for hotel rooms for the first twelve participants from Colgate, Hamilton, Hobart & William Smith Colleges, and St. Lawrence University only (three rooms per school). Skidmore and Union students will not need hotel rooms. In order to keep costs low, we will request 4 students to share a hotel room, and any participants beyond twelve from any of the four colleges mentioned above are requested to solicit funds from their college to cover additional hotel fees.
Participants requiring any form of (dis)ability related accommodations, or those with dietary restrictions should note these on the registration form. If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to discuss any accommodations, please contact the conference planning group at spectrumconference2016@gmail.com.
Student participants will NOT need to make hotel reservations in their own name. The conference team will make the reservations on your behalf after you have completed the registration page. Attendees will stay at the Courtyard Marriot in Saratoga Springs, and the hotel is about 5 minute drive from Skidmore College.
Staff and faculty participants can call and make their own reservations through the hotel. The conference rate currently $114 per night please let them know that you are reserving a room under the Skidmore College conference rate. Please provide the hotel a direct payment at the time of your reservation.

Travel
Participants should arrange for transportation from their college to Skidmore College, and from the hotel to the Skidmore campus. We encourage you to contact administrators or your student government to solicit funds for travel. For GPS directions to Skidmore College, please use the following address: 815 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The hotel address is listed below. Please note that participants will arrive directly to Skidmore College for the conference as hotel check in does not start until 3 p.m. Participants will be able to check in to the hotel AFTER dinner on Saturday.
Parking
Registered Participants will be emailed parking information closer to the date of the conference. Parking is free at both Skidmore College and at the Hotel.
