Protecting Children: Identifying and Reporting Sexual Misconduct

As part of our initiative to protect minors who may participate in experiences on the Skidmore campus or otherwise visit our community, all employees (faculty, staff, union, part time, etc.) are required to complete an interactive, question based training which will take approximately 45 minutes. Steps to access the training site:

    1. Go to https://skidmore.okta.com/login/login.htm
    2. Enter your Skidmore College login credentials to access Okta
    3. Under My Apps, click on Learn More Skidmore
    4. Once on the Training Portal site- click Protecting Children: Identifying and Reporting Sexual Misconduct, listed under My Learning
    5. Under Training Slides, click on Protecting Children: Identifying and Reporting Sexual Misconduct
    6. follow the on-screen instructions to complete the course
    7. Once finished, you will receive an email from the system confirming your course completion

Workplace harassment prevention & preventing sexual harassment

These are two online, interactive, question based trainings which will take approximately 30 minutes each to complete. To read about the policy in detail: https://www.skidmore.edu/hr/eeo_diversity/staff.php#ahp

Steps to access the training site:

  1. Go to https://skidmore.okta.com/login/login.htm
  2. Enter your Skidmore College login credentials to access Okta
  3. Under My Apps, click on Learn More Skidmore
  4. Once on the Training Portal site- click Workplace Harassment Prevention listed under My Learning
  5. Under Training Slides, click on Workplace Harassment Prevention
  6. Select your preferred language for viewing the course
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the course
  8. Once finished, you will receive an email from the system confirming your course completion
  9. Return to the Learn More Skidmore homepage and click on Preventing Sexual Harassment to complete the second training

Please note that since this training is an annual requirement, you will be required to re-take this training as part of the College’s annual roll out unless your hire date was within the grace window as defined by the College.
