Influenza (flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness. For symptoms, treatment and facts about flu, visit https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/index.html.

Lyme Disease is a bacterial disease transmitted to humans through the bite of deer ticks in New York State. Typical symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash.

Zika Virus is a mosquito-borne infection.  As of Summer 2022 there have been no confirmed Zika virus disease cases reported from United States territories since 2019.  Zika may still be relevant to your health depending on travel.  To learn more see the CDC information regarding Zika.

Ebola - Ebola is a rare and deadly disease caused by infection with one of the Ebola virus species. Learn more about Ebola:
