Las Vegas born clarinetist Michael Dee is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and Manhattan School of Music whose principal teachers include Michael Rusinek, Mark Nuccio, and Anthony McGill. Since leaving school, he’s performed with the New York Philharmonic, West Point Military Academy Band, Albany Symphony, Schenectady Symphony, Glens Falls Symphony, Hudson Festival Orchestra and has served as the principal clarinetist for Bergen County Symphony Orchestra and Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Dee is a current member of Quintocracy, a Capital Region based Wind Quintet that believes in music for all by bringing interesting programs to non-traditional performance spaces and particularly likes engaging with local communities, serves as the Principal Clarinetist of the Berkshire Symphony, and is also on the faculty of Williams College.
